All Star Weekend

NBA All-Star Weekend is a star-studded, three-day festival celebrating elite basketball talent and global fan culture... The NBA All-Star Weekend is an annual three-day basketball festival held every February in the middle of the regular season, marking a break from official league games. It showcases the league's best players, rising stars, and celebrities, functioning as a high-profile, glamorous, and global celebration of basketball culture. The weekend begins with the Rising Stars Challenge, featuring top rookies and first/second-year talents, plus a celebrity game on Friday night. Saturday night highlights include the slam dunk contest, 3-point contest, and often a skills competition to showcase elite skills in a fun format. The centerpiece is Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game, featuring 24 of the league's top players drafted by captains. In addition to games, it serves as a massive corporate and media event with deal-making, parties, and fan-focused experiences. The weekend brings together fans and celebrities to celebrate the brightest stars in basketball.

NBA Crossover

A multi-day immersive exhibition that runs concurrently with NBA All-Star Weekend... NBA Crossover is a multi-day immersive fan festival held annually as a premier component of NBA All-Star Weekend. Taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center for 2026, the event spans over 300,000 square feet and blends basketball, music, fashion, art, and technology. Fans can explore more than 40 interactive activations, such as the Google Search Bar and personalized retail hubs. The festival features over 100 talent appearances, giving fans rare opportunities to see NBA stars, legends, and influencers up close. A dedicated concert series at Hardwood Central includes high-profile performances from artists like Ludacris, Shaboozey, and K-pop group CORTIS. It also hosts key G League events, including the Slam Dunk and Three-Point contests, and the G League Next Up Game. During marquee All-Star games, the venue evolves into a massive watch party destination with live commentary and giveaways. This fan fest serves as the ultimate destination for those who want to experience the intersection of the game and modern pop culture.

NBA Summer League

NBA Summer League is the primary off-season... The NBA Summer League is a ten-day off-season competition in Las Vegas that offers a first look at the league's newest rookies and young prospects. All 30 NBA teams participate in the 2026 showcase at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the UNLV campus. The event features a tournament-style format where teams play at least five games, culminating in a championship game for the top four seeds. For fans, the atmosphere is uniquely intimate, as games are held in smaller college arenas where current NBA stars and coaches are often spotted in the stands. Specialized ticket packages through NBA Experiences provide access to courtside decks, skills clinics, and shootarounds with league personalities. Beyond the court, the event serves as a critical evaluation period for international scouts and front-office executives. It has a storied history of launching legends, as icons like Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry used it as a springboard to their MVP careers.

In-Season Tournament

Annual competition tips off in late October with all 30 teams battling... The Emirates NBA Cup is a competitive mid-season tournament designed to increase stakes and excitement during the early portion of the regular season. The 30 teams are divided into six groups of five based on their conference and previous season's record. During "Cup Nights" in November, each team plays four group games that count toward both the tournament standings and the 82-game regular season. The six group winners and two wild-card teams advance to a single-elimination knockout stage starting in December. Quarterfinal games are hosted by the higher seeds in their home markets, while the semifinals and championship move to a neutral site in Las Vegas. The championship game is the only tournament contest that does not count toward the regular-season standings, as the finalists technically play an 83rd game. Players on advancing teams compete for a significant prize pool, with the 2025 champions, the New York Knicks, each earning over $500,000 for their victory.
